Ci sposiamo — we're getting married

Our story
Daniel proposed in the wrong village. He had spent a year planning a particular terrace in a particular town, drove two hours, and asked in a car park outside a supermarket in Greve because he could not wait any longer. Sofia said yes before he had finished. We are getting married eleven kilometres from that car park, and we would love you to come.
The ceremony

A small stone church up an unpaved road, cool inside even in August. The service is in Italian and English. Please arrive by quarter to — the road is single track and nobody can pass you.

Aperitivo in the olive grove while the light goes, then dinner on the terrace under the pergola. Long, slow, Italian. Do not eat lunch.

Dress code
Summer formal. Linen, long dresses, colour. The terrace is gravel and the church steps are stone, so bring shoes you can stand in for six hours.
Gifts
You are flying to Tuscany for us, which is already extravagant. If you'd still like to give something, we're saving for a proper kitchen in the flat.
Good to know
Do we need a car?
Yes. The church and villa are both up unpaved roads with no public transport. Hire at the airport.
How hot will it be?
Around 32°C at the ceremony, cooling to something lovely by nine. The terrace is shaded and there's water everywhere.
Will everything be in Italian?
The ceremony is in both. Daniel's family will feed you regardless of what language you speak.
Is there a shuttle?
From the villa down to Greve at midnight and one o'clock. Getting up the hill is your own adventure.

Travel & stay
Florence is 50 minutes away and Pisa 90. You will need a car — there is no bus and taxis won't come this far up. Hire from the airport, not the city.
